Goals w/c 09.03.15

Next week is going to be an exciting one. Seeing as we're on Sunday now it'll be a nice time to map out what week commencing 9th March is going to look like. Might not be of interest to you but since I am counting down the days until I'm on that flight to Tokyo.. I can barely contain myself! I'm even starting to get those dreams where you're on your way to the airport and you panic because you've forgotten something obvious and crucial and end up missing your flight (that is normal isn't it?)

Monday:
- I'm at work. Get my shit together, juggle meetings and daily tasks, get prep done for people to pass on and get the ball rolling. Then I've got time whilst they get back to me with a result.
- Return some online shopping (not mine technically) pop into post office before it closes - nts: meaning leave work on time
- Have lunch with Pete! Since I have a meeting every Monday at 2pm and we usually lunch at 1 for convenience, we usually manage to fit in about 50 mins since Pete arrives around 1.04-1.13 (he likes to be precise). Say sorry not sorry because I'm missing our next two Monday lunches hehe.
- Open suitcase and start planning outfits and packing!

Tuesday:
- Working. Another busy day so get on top of my tasks.
- I think Ted is dying his hair this day, at a salon near my office. That means we can eat something yummy for dinner and I get to see if he can pull off this so-called ash blonde
- Hoping to receive the yen we exchanged this day
- Going back to my parents after work with work laptop and other stuff.

Wednesday:
- Working from home day, got my remote access sorted last week. Not sure if I'll attempt to wake up at 9 but it'll probably also be bad if I don't. I can work and reply to emails in pyjamas.
- Opticians for contact lens check and sight test. Excited because I can get some free glasses, thinking Karl Lagerfeld or just Tommy Hilfiger again.. Will need to add on money for those though but it's okay. Probably won't receive before Japan .. But hopefully they'll give me my contact lenses now. They've been withholding delivery since I'm so long overdue. Lols
- Go home and work a bit more, then go home to Cricklewood
- Do laundry for anything for Japan!
- Pack!!

Thursday:
- Catch up on what I've missed since being out of office.
- Prepare for my trip! Pass on any immediate work to colleague, let people know what stage I'm at with certain things. Hope for the best!
- Print anything I need from work. Day planners, e-tickets, etc.
- Pick up any last minute bits from the shops that we need for the trip
- Knowing me I'll be last minute packing this night. As is tradition me and Ted will probably allnighter for our flight in the morning.
- Clean the apartment, make sure no perishable food that won't last a week is left in the fridge.
- Book taxi
- Get excited and think allnightering is a great idea, regrets in the morning.
- Perhaps take a little nap (that might last too long and defeat the whole purpose) because I'm weak and suck with no sleep.

Friday:
- Run around like a headless chicken
- Proceed to regret semi-allnighter because I have the energy levels of a living zombie
- Hop on Taxi with luggage enroute to Heathrow!
- Have enough time for breakfast and Duty-Free shopping!
- Start our Japan vlogs

I go into so much unnecessary detail. Oh well! I haven't been on holiday in about a year and a half now so I'm feeling so seriously happy!

Edit: I wrote this Saturday night, and it's now Sunday morning and I had a dream that I forgot to vlog anything until we arrived in Japan ..! May also have to do with me having watched a ton of Japan vlogs, Japanese learning stuff and half of Lost in Translation last night (which so far I don't empathise with at all.. So I stopped half-way).

If any of you guys are interested, I found this website pretty useful for improving my vocabulary: http://japanese-phrases.sakura.ne.jp/

Useful phrases for foreigners! I only found it last night but I've sent it over to Ted to look at, I want to speak more Japanese this trip but it'll probably/definitely turn into some kind of weird Japanese-English mix. I downloaded a useful dictionary too on my phone yesterday yay!
